Real Customer Testimonials:

I worked with Sandra a couple of years ago and had never tried Salsa until she
brought it to work one day. Needless to say, I'm hooked, my family is hooked
(the Salsa is a must in the Christmas baskets), and I refer everyone who asks
to Sandra and Chef Eloy.
Being born and raised in the Mid-west, I wasn't exposed to a great variety of foods, but I do like the MILD Salsa. It is always fresh, tastes great, and freezes well over the Winter (yes, it will stay in the freezer for about four months).

Eloy Carrera is the creator of Chef Eloy’s ‘Kickin’ Salsas. Chef Eloy’s career in the food industry started back in 1968 when he and his late wife, Adela, opened a Latin American Restaurant called ‘El Tango” in Northern Virginia but later moved the business to the Adams Morgan area of Washington, DC in 1970 and re-named the restaurant “Carlos Gardel” after the famous Argentine singer. That is where Chef Eloy perfected his salsas and decided to serve it to all customers with fresh tortilla chips. |
Even after Eloy and Adela decided to call the restaurant business quits, customers continued to track Eloy down for his salsa! Eloy knew he had a product that would be a hit but didn’t know how to get his product out to customers. In 2001, Chef Eloy experimented with bottling his salsas and selling a few of them at a local farmers’ market. Before the first season was over, he was in 2 more markets! In 2003, his daughter, Sandra Stickovitch, jumped on board the business and now 5 years later, Chef Eloy’s salsas are in 7 local Northern Virginia farmers’ markets a week and they participate in over 30 festivals/shows per year! |
